WHAT IS MICROCURRENT?

Used in clinics and medical offices, Microcurrent is a low level current that is used to tone and firm the skin.

Known mostly for its anti-ageing abilities, it works by mimicking the body's natural current and can provide both instant and long-term anti-ageing results if used correctly.

Its most common use is to tone the face, however Microcurrent can also be found in devices that tone the body. Microcurrent was invented in the 1980’s as a ‘muscle stimulator’.

They are used to treat Bell’s Palsy, a condition that causes temporary weakness and sagging within the skin due to nerve-paralysis. 

WHAT IS A MICROCURRENT FACIAL?

It’s often referred to as ‘a workout for the face’, as it creates a toning and sculpting effect by breaking down the skin cells within your face and allowing them to grow back stronger.

It’s very similar to the effect that exercise has on the body, it breaks down the muscle tissue allowing it to grow back larger and more defined.
